There were two counters in a vending machine, one for money in and out, another for goods out. After collecting enough data, SignShine industrial cellular routers would trigger dial-up to the Internet by 3G or GPRS mobile network, build a secured VPN tunnel and transmit the packaged data to the trade data center of the customer. With these devices installed safely in the small cabinet of vending machine, retailers would know if there are enough goods in the vending machine and when to collect the money.
